MEET KALEN

As a Meridian native, Mississippi State University graduate, and new stay at home mom, I created KM Design somewhat by accident in 2007 while planning my son’s first birthday party. My creative wheels began to turn and I quickly discovered a newfound passion for designing and printing special event invitations, holiday cards, and stationery.

A few years later my husband and I welcomed a daughter into our family, and the need for unique personalized baby apparel and accessories was born. I began making and selling hand-lettered appliqué clothing, pillowcases, backpacks, and beach towels. As our children began school and participated in youth sports, I realized that there was a need for unique team spirit shirts.

My love for typography, paints, fabrics and quality goods merged into custom designs and hand painted spirit apparel producing yet another branch of KM Design. Although the range of goods and services offered throughout the years has evolved, my promise of providing each customer with thoughtful design and quality custom products will never change!
